Nifty opened slight gap down 5 points but soon recovered. Nifty made its low near the anticipated support of 6217 and soon bounced back towards the resistance level of 6290-6300. The strong momentum along with smart recovery from European markets led markets to the high of 6302. The 6300-6215 is a strong resistance zone. A decisive break of this resistance will lead the markets towards 6350-6415 levels.
The support for nifty is at 6270-6220-6180 and the resistance lies at 6320-6355-6415.
Nifty March Future has been trading at 32-33 points premium to the spot. The
implied volatility on the Nifty March Options of ATM strike calls were at 11.82
and for puts were at 13.48. India VIX closed at 14.39. PCR for Nifty based on
open interest was at 1.18 and PCR for the day based on volumes was at 1.1 for
the market.
