Nifty opened flat at 8337.8 and made a high of 8383.05. Once hitting the high of 8383 the market went down towards the support of 8300 and bounced sharply to close at 8344.25. The market is stuck in the range of 8250-8360. Although it is making higher highs but it is not sustaining the gains. In order to move towards the higher targets the market has to close above 8360 resistance. On the daily charts the market has formed a forth doji, a clear indication of confusion. The market is likely to trade sideways with positive bias for the day. A dip towards the 8300 should be bought into.
The support for nifty is at 8312-8275-8205 and the resistance lies at 8366-8402-8465. Nifty November Future
has been trading at 35-36 points premium to the spot. The implied volatility on
the Nifty November Options of ATM strike calls were at11.5 and for puts were at 11.8. India VIX closed at 13.93.
