Nifty Daily For 9th Sept 2014



                   Nifty opened with a gap up of 46 points at 8132 and made a high of 8180. Each day the market is moving up and making new life time high. There is also strong participation from the entire market, a clear sign of a very strong bull market. The corrections should be bought into for higher targets of 8300.
                    The support for nifty is at 8122-8085-8035 and the resistance lies at 8202-8246-8287. Nifty September Future has been trading at 18-19 points premium to the spot. The implied volatility on the Nifty September Options of ATM strike calls were at 10.46 and for puts were at 13.17. India VIX closed at 12.7925. PCR for Nifty based on open interest was at 1.24 and PCR for the day based on volumes was at 1.13 for the market.

Lanco Infratech Ltd: The company which has interests in infrastructure, power and realty segments, retrenched 30 per cent of its 5,700 workforce during the last financial year due to slowdown in development of some of its projects amid subdued market conditions.

The company has seen its total borrowings growing by about 8 per cent during 2013-14 to Rs 36,705 crore (33,969 crore), and its staff strength coming down by 30 per cent to 4,000 people due to slowdown impacting the pace of project execution.
