NIFTY DAILY for 06 JUNE 2013

           Nifty made a new low 5883.7 in the support area of 5888 & 50dma at 5876 and bounced by sharply. The nifty future today tested the lower trend line of falling wedge and bounced back. Due to the weak European market opening the markets went down and nearly tested morning lows. The markets moved higher on strong Europe data to the highs of 5935.2 and closed marginally in the green.The nifty continues to consolidate in the wedge with one final up leg pending in the form of wave e.

           Nifty has resistance in the area of 5952-5967 and support at 5896-5876 area. The major indices are deeply oversold and are showing positive divergence on the hourly charts. Thus a bounce back can take the nifty to the levels of 5960-6020 from where the down trend should resume again.
           Nifty June Future has been trading at 19-20 points premium to the spot. The implied volatility on the Nifty June Options of ATM strike calls were at 14.19 and for puts were at 17.70. India VIX closed at 16.78. PCR for Nifty based on open interest was at 1.03 and PCR for the day based on volumes was at 0.91 for the market.
