Nifty opened 54 points gap down at 5233 clearly violating the 5250 support and indications of further downside. It made a low around the 5120 levels and bounced back sharply to make high of 5317, a total range of 200 points with India VIX at new high of 36.02. The nifty has shown a promise of recovery and any dip towards 5150-5200 should be bought into with the low of today as stop loss.
The
support for nifty is at 5195-5115-5076 and the resistance lies at 5348-5392-5427.
Nifty Sept. Future has been trading at 8-9 points premium to the spot. The
implied volatility on the Nifty Sept. Options of ATM strike calls were at 27.57
and for puts were at 31.80. India VIX closed at 32.38. PCR for Nifty based on
open interest was at 1.35 and PCR for the day based on volumes was at 1.31 for
the market.
