Nifty Daily For 11th September 2013

Nifty opened with a gap up of 58 points above the key resistance of 5720 and went on to build on the morning gain to close strong at 5896. During this session the nifty took out both 50DMA and 200DMA indicating strong positive momentum. Nifty has closed above the 61.8% fibonacci retracement of the fall from 6229 to 5118. This indicates reversal of downtrend and the dips should be bought into.  This was on the back of block buster bonanza of the new RBI governor. Once at throne of the central bank Mr. Raghuram has already embarked on loosening of monetary policy indirectly. This is simply cheered by the markets. The FOMC meet and RBI quarterly monetary policy review is clashing on the same date of 17th Sept. Will FED start tapering or will it just stay put? Will RBI loosen the inflating focused stance and take a new growth reviving stance is something to be looked out. Whatever it be the markets will discount it and prices will hint the answers.
The support for nifty is at 5840-5770-5720 and the resistance lies at 5955-6031-6077. Nifty September Future has been trading at 11-12 points premium to the spot. The implied volatility on the Nifty September Options of ATM strike calls were at 27.32 and for puts were at 30.66. India VIX closed at 29.44. PCR for Nifty based on open interest was at 1.64 and PCR for the day based on volumes was at 1.05 for the market.
