Nifty Daily For 20th Sepetember 2013

                 The FED chairman decided not to cut any QE on the way out in spite of reiterating the possibility of cut in last two policy meets. The markets rejoiced at the continuation of more money with a heads up. Nifty opened gap up 144 points and kept building on the gains. It has hit a new swing high of 6142.5. The fast V-shaped recovery from the lows of 5119 is clear indication that the market is going up. The most imminent target is around the levels of 6250. The RBI monetary policy tomorrow hold the key to whether the market move ahead or drop dead. The 6100PE and 6000PE has huge open interest build up, indicating the put writers are active in these strikes. These levels will provide the necessary support during market correction.

          The support for nifty is at 6083-6015-5957 and the resistance lies at 6146-6190-6230. Nifty September Future has been trading at 30-31 points premium to the spot. The implied volatility on the Nifty September Options of ATM strike calls were at 25.72 and for puts were at 20.94. India VIX closed at 24.5. PCR for Nifty based on open interest was at 1.7 and PCR for the day based on volumes was at 1.16 for the market.

Reliance Industries Ltd: RIL and its partner BP plc of the UK may have finally been able to arrest the steep decline in output from their main gas field in the eastern offshore KG-D6 fields as they work to revive closed wells.

Axis Bank Ltd: The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) today approved a proposal of Axis Bank to increase the limit on overseas holdings in the lender to more than 49 per cent.

HPCL: The Cabinet is likely to consider tomorrow giving approval to Hindustan Petroleum Corp's Rs 37,229 crore refinery in Rajasthan, just ahead of the planned foundation stone laying of the project by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

HCL Technologies Ltd: FIPB, headed by economic affairs secretary Arvind Mayaram, cleared HCL Technologies' proposal to hike foreign direct investment (FDI) limit in the company to 74% from 49%.

Jaiprakash Associates and UltraTech Cements: The Rs 3,750-crore deal between Jaypee Cement and Aditya Birla Group's UltraTech Cement for the former's plant in Gujarat has run into legal trouble.

"The Gujarat High Court on Thursday ordered the deal involving transfer of a cement plant in the Kutch from Jaypee to UltraTech would be subject to the outcome of a public suit filed by local villagers of Abdasa taluka in the region," said a media report.

Infosys Ltd: Infosys has received partial relief in a lawsuit that was filed against the Bangalore-headquartered company by Versata Software three years ago in a US court. "In a summary judgement issued earlier this month, a Texas district court dropped some parts of the claims made by the US-based information technology firm," added a media report.

Religare Enterprises Ltd: Religare Enterprises' promoters billionaire brothers Malvinder Mohan Singh and Shivinder Mohan Singh today sold 6.13 per cent stake in the diversified financial services major worth Rs 322.5 crore.
